Ohyescoolgreat is an Arnhem based independent studio for graphic design and education owned by Janne de Rooij. The studio focuses on creative and innovative design for cultural and educational institutions. The work of Ohyescoolgreat entails the development of identities, workshop and exhibition design. Its strong point is it’s experience with research projects in which Ohyescoolgreat manages to bring all different ideas and messages into a strong graphic statement.
Janne de Rooij achieved her BA in graphic design in 2008 at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. The same year she received a Mondriaan starting grant and founded Ohyescoolgreat together with Jeroen Sikma. She then continued studying at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam, and received her master’s degree in 2011. In 2014 she started teaching design exploration at Willem de Kooning Academy and other educational institutes. In 2019 she achieved her BEd in art and design education at the Breitner Academy in Amsterdam.
